Memna Privacy Policy

Draft for testing. This is general information, not legal advice; have someone qualified in Thai personal data protection law review it before opening Memna to the public. Text in square brackets still has to be filled in. If the Thai and English versions differ, the Thai version applies.

Memna is an assistant in LINE groups that records the tasks people give each other, reminds people before a due time, and shows each person's tasks in a web app that opens inside LINE. This page explains what Memna keeps, why, for how long, who can see it, and your rights under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019).

1. Data controller

Memna is operated by Phongsathorn Thongdee. Contact about personal data: phoohats@gmail.com.

2. What Memna reads and what it does not

• In a group, Memna reads only messages that tag @Memna and the buttons people tap on Memna's cards.
• Other messages in the group are not stored (only LINE's event id is kept, so the same event is not processed twice).
• Memna works in a group only after a member taps "เปิดใช้" (switch on) once Memna has joined.
• In a 1:1 chat, Memna answers only the commands it knows, such as "งานของฉัน" (my tasks), "จัดลำดับงาน" (priorities), "สรุป" (summary) and "วิธีใช้" (help).
• Memna currently does not send your messages to any outside AI service. If that changes, the group's written consent will be asked for first.

3. What is kept, and why

Memna does not keep your email, phone number, profile picture or location, and does not build profiles or rank anyone for advertising.

4. Who sees what

• People in a group see that group's task cards, including who took which task and when it is due, as they already see in the chat.
• "My tasks" in the 1:1 chat and in the web app shows only tasks you are part of, and tasks nobody has taken yet in your team groups.
• A group's admins can see how many open tasks each member holds, in their 1:1 chat only, never in the group, and with no ranking.
• Members marked as "customer" see only their own requests and no team member's name.
• People who have left a group can no longer open that group's tasks.

5. Service providers the data passes through

• LINE (LY Corporation and its affiliates): delivering messages, and confirming your identity when you open the web app.
• Supabase: the database and the server code; the data is stored in a data centre in Singapore.
• Cloudflare: serving the web app and checking requests at its front door; task data and names pass through but are not stored, and logging is switched off.

Memna does not sell, rent or share your data for marketing.

6. Legal basis

Memna uses only the data needed to provide the service the group switched on (recording tasks, reminding, showing tasks) and to keep the system secure.

7. Your rights

• To see your data, or get a copy
• To have incorrect data corrected
• To have data deleted, or its use restricted
• To object to its use
• To receive your data in a machine-readable format
• To complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee

Send requests to phoohats@gmail.com. You can stop 1:1 reminders at once by blocking Memna. A group can stop using Memna at once by removing Memna from the group.

8. Security

Every connection uses HTTPS. The web app checks LINE's identity token on every request and never trusts a user id sent by the page. The database itself keeps each company's and each group's data apart.

9. Changes

If anything important changes, Memna will say so in the groups that use it in its next reply there, and the date at the top of this page will change.
